Feb 14 2009.
Met up with Shu Ying to SMa to enquire for the HRM degree course.
Heard from her that her dad that he doesn't want her in that course cos it'll be hard to find job in future.
But there's only a few of the business courses that i'm interested in.. :(
I guess we'll have to see how regarding this le..
Anyway, went to Singtel at Tamp to recontract for my Internet Broadband.. End since long ago le.. got the new version which is so heavy.. and the queue's so long he became abit pissed off.. cos he's been waiting for me at Eastpoint for nearly an hour before he gave up waiting and decided to head for home instead.
Dan came along and we went down to pick up kel and head to Suntec for our 'Valentine's' dinner.
Went to Kenny Rogers, long queue of people (mostly couples)
had a nice dinner and after that wasted time walking and window shopping around suntec till 9 plus before heading down to prinsep street.
chanced upon this multi storey carpark manned by 2/3 security guards just behind prinsep street. usually multi storey carparks now have barriers and have to insert cash card right? this carpark also have, but difference is that we only have to give 2 bucks to the guards and we can park there the whole night till 7am the next day. really good bargain considering it is located almost next to the town area and its seldom you can get so cheap parking for so longs hours.
anyway, time was still early, so they played 2 rounds of pool and everybody decided that it has become boring. lol.
chatted outside awhile den went to Liquid Gold where his friend was working bartender over there.
his birthday celebration was over there but everybody have not arrived yet. everybody came soon after
total drinks we had.
2 towers beer, 4 shots SOB, 1 shot sambuca, 1 bottle whisky, 1 waterfall, a few flaming lambo, 1 graveyard and more to name..
everybody came down for the party, including Zach, though he was the lastest reaching around 2 am in the morning. :)
initially wanted to give xing a surprise birthday cake.. almost everything going according to plan..
stole Leo's number off his phone while he was sleeping. Msg-ed ning to buy cake and he help to hide it till everybody comes.
thought of waiting for Zach initially but Leo mentioned it was already past 12 already.. suay suay xing was beside me n knew there's going to be a plan for him. (and he guess that it'll be a cake) --> surprise spoilt.. :(
an offset somewhere late during the party caused by 1 particular stranger who thought joe was staring at him..
funny though some parts how they were talking to each other.. lol.
but its still a fun night though. i think everybody enjoyed themselves, cos i know i did also. :)
and hope he'll like the iphone... i know he'll like anyway.. cos its his best birthday present ever.. :0)

well well well.. so its been some time since i last blogged...
its Christmas today, might be meeting my mum for some shopping later..
a number of presents this year from friends at party yest and collueagues at work,
love it... especially e ferror rochers which i love e most. :0)
weather's not tt good (though its very cooling)..
my nose is suffering on and off, depending on the weather.
went marina with swing, eve, didi and abner for jap food at MOF.
as a birthday treat for the couple dan and eve who's birthday falls on christmas and christmas eve respectively. :0)
yest bought a blackbook wallet from anthropology..
liked it alot... made of leather with very simple design; black on the outside and white inside.
taking a day off from work tml.
nth to do at work might as well...
and its our 3 years and 9 mths anniversary..
but lets hope that he won't get activated and have to go back camp...
cos his higher-rank-i-dunno-who hinted that there MIGHT be a possibility that he'll get activated on that day.
year's coming to an end, new year's coming very soon..
hope next year will be a better year than this..
(even though this year is already quite a good year for me already)

pre-birthday dinner on sunday, went to Buckeroo with my family and xing.
was super filling , even though the 4 main courses was shared by 6 ppl.
quite satisfied actually.
after tt sent him back to his 40 SAR camp, before heading home...
this year's birthday's quite a simple one actually.
colleagues bought cupcakes with sea creatures design. wanted me to choose the one with sotong
but in the end chosed the tortoise picture. =D
(they called me sotong in office now - SAM was the one who started it) - boo... =P
met ci, shi n ju for a small gathering on wed night at marina square.
zhen got held up so couldnt come. had a long talking session in the end it was around midnight when we left for home.
but realli appreciate them for coming, cos it's been quite some time since i last met them..
NDP's today, xing's taking part this year.
because of him tt's y i'm able to go to the NDP show this year with ying..
but anyway,
its a rather wet day today and there's little friction on his shoes..
hope he wont fall down today like he did on NE1.
if not it'll be in front of 27,000 people and the national TV.

DHL volunteer day tml. super sian.
cos nobody volunteer so almost the whole NOKIA team had their names written down.
haha..
15 ppl divided into 5 groups, together with the rest of the DHL employees..
have to reach aljunied by 8.30
going andrew and grace home (me shu ying, abner and serene) to visit the childrens..
hope it'll be fun though..
meeting xing's mum and bro tml for dinner at easy coast Long Beach restaurant.
not the one near the central where i went for CNY dinner with the MKs last year.
rather, its the one me and him used to go everytime in the past..
sometimes, i just prefer life this way.
simple, quiet, with people i love around, having fun chatting sessions over dinner or meet ups sometimes,
able to go home and spend some quality time with family or boyfriend.. =)

went for the NDP preview on Sat at the Stadium near Esplanade. was people -people-packed from the time me and shu ying came out from City Hall MRT all the way to the stadium. it was only more spacious after we got our fun packs and on the way to take our seats. but at least the crowd was better compared to being at Kallang Stadium.
Took our seats around 4.30; explored our fun packs while waiting for the programs to start. this year's NDP activities were quite good. Emcees made their grand entrance via jet skis, the national wakeboarders doing a stunt or two. =) Motor kites flying around, and of course, the annual NDP fighter plane display by the black knights. it's super fascinating the way they flew vertically inclined and how they made the hearts in the sky and the almost-collision.
i cant say anymore, cos i dun wanna spoil e fun. *winks*
anyway, everybody was laughing as 'SM', 'Minister LHL' and e 'President' - simulated - made their entrance. parade started, the colour party and the 3 forces were still the best of all - with their smart uniform and the coordination of the platoon during the whole march. programs followed soon after the parade, and it got better towards the end. i was waiting for baby's merdragon to come out just before e grand finale. he and the rest of the 40 SAR who took part did well, giving consideration to the months of training they had before this actual full dress rehearsal in frnt of 27,000 citizens.
fireworks were the still traditionally the best of all, but my camera died on me just as this instant. =( but lucky shu ying got take video of the fireworks, which wasnt that bad actually. =)
went carls junior in the end for dinner, after walking rounds of marina square deciding what to eat. that place is jus simply toooo spoilt for choices. wanted go K but due to some problems with the member points we didnt go. baby joined us after changing back into his home clothes and we took the train back.
photos will be uploaded somewhere this week...
i had an agreement with Scott. so that i don't have to give my schedule every week for that week after. it seems a win win for both side actually.
** i cant wait for the night of 10th August.

kinda nervous actually.
my instructor said is 'pre-test emotions'
or watsoever..
i admit i wasnt doin too well today compared to yest.
but hope it'll turn out better tml during the actual thing.
asked instructor Lee to treat me my green tea before my test tml.
he agreed. LOL.

now that i've got a full time job,
spending money is so easy now
its much easier than working at my part time job.
at least i've got the privilege to spend my money like i print cash. =P
haha.
settling down at my company,
good thing that there's swing to acc me in e office.
eveleen's coming in soon. i think around this week or the next.
but i'm missing all my girls..
amy, alvina, en ci, xiao shi, ling zhen, cheryl, thomas (he's not my girl but i jus miss as a brother)..
want to go back mandarin and BQ to work but there's simply no time with OT almost every other day.
then weekends with family and bf and myself.
din see them since months ago. =(

shld i even think of goin? i know its abit too early to mention bout this now. he said he'll most likely b goin overseas to work wif jo after he ORD, which is nxt year arnd june. asked mi to come along wif him. den i can find a job over there.
things are stable for us now n i'm sure it'll cont to be stable throughout e coming mths or years, unless there are sudden upturns, which i think wun have lah. we've matured enuf through this relationship for all e minor breakups stuff. but for tt decision, i guess still have to see how things will be 1 year later.
1 thing bout tt place is tt it is quite laidback, n tt is what i like. but, there are people in singapore i'll definitely miss. n i'm worried tt i dunno how i'll adapt to life over there.
i have 1 year to think bout it. cos if i go, it'll probably for quite a few years, or even permanent. true, money wise i can earn much more than in singapore. but at the expense of having to make new friends all over again. even though i will have him beside mi all the time.
oh well. i guess the only thing i have to do now is wait till next year to see how things are still progressing.
anyway, labour's day tml, but gotta stay back in e office tonight till dunno what time. hopefully will b until 10. hopefully.. n he's coming to fetch mi lata after i finish work. =)
anyway jus a short update. will be heading to a kelong in johore from 16 to 18 may. looking forward to it. =)

weekends gonna b here!!
finally finished e 1st week of my job.
was kinda alright actually.
people were nice to get along with.
young oso.
excluding e manager,
e oldest in e nokia team is less than 30.
but e work load is...
loads n loads but very boring. lol.
using SAP for their system,
which is 1 of e worst sub in sch which i cant understand.
their process is very hard to understand oso.
alot of things to do
from the time you receive e order to sending e invoice to em.
cant believe tt its onli e 1st week n there's already so much to do.
n i still got 5 more weeks to endure. =(
anyway, graduation ceremony on 22 may.
poly life is over, n working life is here.
oh man.
goin kelong trip in malaysia in mid of may.
wif baby n friends.
looking forward to it.
cos its been very long ago since i went.
since Pri 4 i think? =)
n i left 2 more months to chiong for my TP
which means i need to book more lessons in may n june.
BOO. =(

sat night saw mi n him out for a date.

starters was escargot n e portebello mushies.
e mushroom soup was nice!

followed by e oxtail stew n his beef tenderloin.
said tt e stew reminds him of his grandma.
cos its "exactly e same taste"
???
anyway his beef tenderloin was good.
except tt it tastes abit chao ta on e outside.
lol
finally had our tiramisu loves.
=)
tt evening was great.
good service, nice ambience, good food, great company
onli thing was tt it costs us a whooping nearly 150 bucks
lol.
after our dinner was supposed to head down to cathay.
wanted to catch a movie.
but he saw e match between arsenal n liverpool showing at a coffeeshop near bayview
so in e end we spend e nxt 1 hour at e coffeeshop watching his soccer.
lol
after tt met up wif his frens at DXO
ning, kylie, joe n zach
had 1 tower of beer n 1 tower of vodka orange.
orange was cos there's no more coke n cranberry. -_-"
had supper at e kopitiam before proceeding to viva at central mall
stayed there till closing until 3 plus before proceeding home sweet home.
today.
jus got e letter from TP.
graduation ceremony on 22 may, on e evening.
2 invites. thinking of giving my mum n dad
but dunno daddy free or not on tt day cos its on a thurs.
stupid lah.
n i jus got my date.
will b on e 1st of july.
cant wait! =)

HELLO WORLD!!!
i finally found a full time job!
at expo there. under DHL global logistics.
officially starting on 14 apr 2008
working as customer service coordinator. =)
regine called mi early in e morning while i was still slping to tell mi bout e news.
boo. waste my beauty sleep
but lucky it was good news instead of bad.
=)
anyway my job got 2 shifts rotating fornightly
1st shift from 8-6 (mon to thurs), 8-5 (fri)
2nd shift from 12-10 (mon to thurs), 1-10 (fri)
n there's allowance given for e 2nd shift,
which is on top of my basic pay
transport is also provided from tamp, bedok n tanah merah.
not to mentions tt it is VERY near to simei. =)
but most of all, i hope my job will b easy to handle
*prays*
dun mind mi.
i'm jus abit to happy to get e job i wan. =)
